There are three videos that are important for any business or profession. It is essential to have a short video about your company, your product and the customer.
- Company Video – This should communicate what makes your business or profession different. Who you are. What you do. Why you do it. This video including the other two should communicate your message with and without the sound. This way viewers still get the idea when watching on their mobile devices, on a video display at a trade show or in the lobby of your office. The best way to do this is to use the technique called “Show me what you do.” So you would show who you are. Show what you do. Show why you do it.
- Product Video – This video should clearly state the benefits, not the features, of your product or service. If there are quite a bit of benefits state the top three to five. Anything more viewers won’t remember anyway. Three is always a good number. Like the company video it should also communicate the message with and without sound.
- Customer Video – This should be a fun video. Well all the videos should be fun, but this one is intentional. It does not need to be funny as in “ha, ha,” but funny as in amusing, intersting and/or engaging. This video is about a customer explaining how they benefitted from your product or service.
